Why We Built This Site
Georgia provides public routes to many court records, but the first task is knowing which court and custodian holds the record. The official Echols County government site is a local reference point, while Superior Court is the state’s primary trial court for broad civil and criminal jurisdiction. Echols Clerk of Superior Court Nora Leigh Rogers maintains the Superior office at 110 Highway 94 East, Statenville, Georgia 31648, with mail directed to P.O. Box 213. The office lists 229-559-5642, fax 229-559-5792, and Monday through Friday hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Probate & Magistrate office is separate. Its mailing address is P.O. Box 118, Statenville, Georgia 31648, and its phone is 229-559-7526. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and closes from 12:00 to 12:30. Georgia Courts’ E-Access directory lists Echols Superior and routes users to PeachCourt, while the Georgia Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Georgia maintain separate appellate dockets. These distinctions are why the site groups contact details, search paths, and request cautions by court.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to a Georgia court, the Echols County Clerk of Superior Court, the Probate & Magistrate office, or any state agency. There are firm limits on what the site can do:
- It cannot retrieve an official docket sheet or case file for a reader
- It cannot change, continue, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- It cannot remove, seal, or amend an entry in a court record
- It cannot issue a certified copy of a docket, order, or other court document
- It cannot give legal advice or apply a charge, order, or filing to a particular matter
- It cannot promise that every listed phone number, fee, or setting remains current
Only the clerk or trial court that holds a case can issue its official or certified docket or court record. The site can identify the likely office, but the document must come from that custodian.
Search Partners
Some pages contain search boxes operated by outside providers. Those providers run their own services and set their own prices. If a search leads to a paid signup, the site may receive a referral fee that helps support free access to the reference material. The site does not set those charges or control the results returned by a partner.
